Practice Final

The final exam will be on Friday, July 22, from 10:30 - 11:30 in the usual classroom.

I will distribute solutions to the practice final on Wednesday. I will also hold an office hour from 3:00 - 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, in the computer lab.

JDBC Resources

• The MySQL JDBC driver:

  mysql-connector-java-3.0.6-stable-bin.jar

• A sample JDBC program, including driver installation instructions in a comment.
• A pdf of the previous item.

MySQL

There is online documentation available for certain elements of MySQL syntax. It's not the most user-friendly documentation you'll ever find, but it is thorough. Here are links to some of it:

• date and time functions
• string comparison functions
• mathematical functions
• Different flavors of queries: SELECT | INSERT | UPDATE | DELETE
