MATLAB ROUTINES for Speech Recognition

These are some of the routines that you can play around with.   (You can also look at  some  spectra that  needed  better   demonstration  from  what  I managed  in  the   last session...)

Support   Vector  Machines

Support  Vector  Machines  (SVMs)  are  a  recent  and  promising  approach  to  solving  binary  pattern  recognition  problems.  To start  out,   try  the mysvm    software  for  training  support  vector  machines.  This software is very easy to install  and  use. The simple  machine  that  I  described  in  the  demo  is  a  linear  support  vector  machine.

Here  are  the  parameter file,  training  and  test  file.  It is  not  clear   which  package  you  might  eventually  be  using  or  even  coding  up your  own  pattern  recognizer  or using something other  than  SVMs.
 

For  those  who  might  be  interested, this  is  a  good  tutorial  for  SVMs.
