The Final Project is available. It's due Friday, March 17 at noon. Please start now!!

Jen will be in her 4th floor office all Thursday afternoon. John will be in Friday 10-11 and MTW 10:30-11:30 (all in Ry 276). Sharon has hours posted on her first floor office door.

An example solution for HW7 is available. Your can both look at the actual code for entry.cgi and search.cgi and test the scripts from entry.html and search.html.

Tutorials

There will be four tutorials in the MacLab to teach you the software basics that are quite necessary for the course. We have scheduled these for 4 days so you all can attend. Unless you are very familiar with Fetch, BBEdit, and Netscape, you should plan to attend one of these sessions. You will be expected to know how to do everything taught there for the first assignment and, in fact, everything for the rest of the quarter. The dates and times are:

  • Thursday, Jan 6: 4:00pm
  • Friday, Jan 7: 2:30pm
  • Monday, Jan 10, 7:00pm
  • Tuesday, Jan 11, noon
